Surprise for Mother
After finally completing the work outside Paula approached towards Mia’s room to clear things up but to her surprise the room was clean as a whistle. Mia surprised her with a glass of water and cookies. She apologized to Paula and promised her to keep things in order from now on. Her teary-eyed mother hugged and Mia avidly revealed her new craft she learnt at school that day.
One fine day Paula came home late from work all tired and exhausted. As soon as she entered the house, she saw the mess created by Mia. With a dejected face she started cleaning everything up but as soon as she reached for the pillow on the floor her phone rang loudly grabbing Mia’s attention. ‘Hello” her mother answered and soon began multitasking with the laptop and the household chores. Seeing her mother so worn-out Mia felt guilty and sad, she ran into her room and closed the tiny door behind.
