1. Her name derives from the Greek mythology god Hermes, who is the messenger between the worlds of both humans and gods. Similarly, Hermione is able to transition between the human world (muggle world) and the wizarding world. 
2. Hermione was so keen to help her friends fight against Voldemort that she initiated secret fighting lessons for her friends and helped create Dumbledore’s Army. 
3. Hermione always helped Ron and Harry in all their adventures. Having the most classes in Hogwarts, she used a time turner (a personal time-traveling device) to catch up with her classes so that she can still have time to be with her friends and help them.
