We all know our dining etiquettes…but did you know that dining manners are really different in some cultures? Here are some dining etiquettes of the Mexican culture:
Families at the dining table do not begin eating until and unless the host says, “Buen provecho!” which means enjoy.
Mexicans do not switch forks and knives. The fork is used by the left hand and the knife is on the other hand. When the meal is over, the utensils are kept on the right side of the plate
The most honored person in the family sits at the head of the table, and the guest is always seated beside them.
